Phase 2 has recently been successful in securing detailed planning permission for a high-quality redevelopment of 7 no. new dwellings and associated development within Braintree town centre. The scheme, within the town’s Conservation Area and the setting of other designated and non-designated heritage assets, included two rounds of detailed pre-application discussions with officers prior to application submission which resulted in a high-quality proposal being able to be secured via delegated officer approval.
