Phase 2 are pleased to announce that they have recently been successful in winning an appeal for 14 new homes and associated development on the edge of the village of Ardleigh (Tendring district). The appeal primarily concerned the location for the proposed new homes in policy/sustainability terms and heritage considerations. Despite the appeal site’s location outside of the defined settlement boundary we were able to convince the Inspector that, when taking into account all relevant material considerations, that the site was suitable and sustainable for new housing growth and would adequately preserve nearby designated and non-designated heritage assets.
