Prittlewell Chase

Phase 2 were approached by our client following the initial refusal by Southend-on-Sea City Council to grant a Lawful Development Certificate for a single storey outbuilding within their rear garden. Reviewing the circumstances surrounding the refusal, we submitted a revised application which sought to provide additional information to justify the incidental nature of the outbuilding, as supported by setting out the leading case law in this area alongside working with the architect in terms of preparing amended drawings. Much to the delight of our client, we are pleased to report that a Lawful Development Certificate for the proposed outbuilding has now been granted.
