Phase 2 has recently been successful in assisting our client, Stonebond Properties (Chelmsford) Ltd, in securing planning permission for new residential development comprising the construction of 38 no. dwellings together with new vehicular and pedestrian access from Alexander Lane, car parking, private gardens, open space, landscaping, SUDs attenuation and associated development on land east of Alexander Lane, Shenfield, Essex.

Despite forming part of North Shenfield allocation ref: R03 within the adopted Brentwood Local Plan, the proposals raised a number of technical challenges but with close collaboration with both officers and members, recommendations of approval and a resolution to grant planning permission were finally secured from the Council’s Planning Committee recently.

We look forward to seeing these much needed high-quality and sustainable proposals delivered on site in the near future in line with the key aspirations of the adopted Local Plan.
