Phase 2 has been successful in assisting Vistry Group in securing detailed planning permission for major new residential development in the Metropolitan Green Belt in Castle Point following a Public Inquiry planning appeal. The development consists of the construction of 173 no. new dwellings including public open space, landscaping, access, drainage, parking, servicing, utilities and all associated infrastructure and ancillary buildings on land adjacent to Daws Heath.
Following many years of site promotion and more recently, detailed preparation including working alongside Counsel and a detailed consultant team before and during the Planning Inquiry, the appeal was allowed securing this important and much-needed development for Daws Heath and a district with one of the worst housing land supply’s in the whole of England.
